PER ML: Ceftiofur (hydrochloride) 50 mg.

Swine: Treatment of bacterial respiratory disease associated with Pasteurella multocida (Pasteurellosis), Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (Pleuropneumonia) and Streptococcus suis (Streptococcus infections).

Cattle: For the treatment of bacterial respiratory disease associated with Mannheimia haemolytica and Histophilus somni (BRD) and Pasteurella multocida (Pasteurellosis). For the treatment of acute interdigital necrobacillosis associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus (Porphyromonas asaccharolytica). For the treatment of the bacterial component of acute post-partum (puerperal) metritis within 10 days after calving associated with Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Fusobacterium necrophorum.

Intramuscular in swine and subcutaneous in cattle.

• Its excellent syringeability allows a comfortable and rapid injection, producing less stress to the animals.
• Shake well before use.

Swine: 1 ml/16 kg b.w./day (equivalent to 3 mg of ceftiofur/kg b.w./day), for 3 days, by intramuscular injection.

Cattle: 1 ml/50 kg b.w./day (equivalent to 1 mg of ceftiofur/kg b.w./day), for 3 to 5 days, by subcutaneous injection.

• Subsequent injections must be given at different sites.
• In case of acute post-partum metritis, additional supportive therapy might be required in some cases.

Meat:

• Swine: 5 days.
• Cattle: 8 days. Milk: 0 days.

Store in a cool place, protected from light.
